"The Council is proposing the following changes in the By-Laws:



1. Article 1, Section 3 --- raising the annual dues for regular
members from $25.00 per year to $30.00 per year. The dues for insured
members under 26 years of age will be one-half of the regular member dues
($15.00 per year). Honorary members will continue to pay $10.00. Honorary
Life members pay nothing. Our Council, traditionally, has exempted disabled
members, Deacons, and full time students from paying dues; this will not
change.

2. Article 5, Section 1 --- meeting days and times are being corrected
in the By-Laws to reflect the current reality. "Regular meetings of the
Council shall be held on the first Sunday of each month at 9:00 AM and on
the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. The second meeting of each month
shall be a regular business meeting."

3. Article 7, Section 5 --- The amount of money to be held by the
Financial Secretary as a Relief Fund for brothers in distress is being
raised from $100.00 to $200.00. The remaining provisions in this section are
not being changed.



This notice constitutes the requirement to publish the proposed By-Law
changes prior to a vote by the members present at the next (January)
meeting.
